In the 9th August issue of Woman’s Own Magazine they covered the topic which most of us want these days in time for summer which is how to get that Hollywood smile.

They mentioned in this topic the different types of whitening toothpastes and how there effects have been with use and recieved ratings from 1 to 10. They also included non biased teeth whitening “Need to know…” section where it gives you in detail what you need to know about the whitening treatments on before and after care and what to expect with the whitening systems.

They also had a very large section which gives you descriptions of the teeth whitening systems with their average costs and how they work and what types of results you would expect.

Included in that section was an article on one of our patients teeth whitening results,  Sandra Aspinall to be exact who suffers with a condition from birth which meant she had thin enamel on her teeth and made her teeth look yellow. With age her teeth became much worse and she had lost her confidence in her smile.

This year she was determined to change the appearance of her smile and a dentist advised her that she would need veneers on her front teeth which is a costly and major treatment.
