TePes Interdental Cleaning Brush

Fresh Dental Advice – The next time your in town why dont you pop into Boots or another healthstore and get your hands on some Tepes. They are interdental cleaning brushes which will help keep your gums clean and strong by inserting them between your teeth to remove food debris and hidden plaque. They come in different sizes because everyone is different. You can always get in contact and make an appt with our Therapist who will teach you how to use them effectively with other oral health advice.

Here are instructions for using the interdental brushes

Front of mouth
Insert the brush into the space between teeth at gum level, turning slightly. This technique aids access and lengthens the life of the brush. Once inserted, gently move the brush backwards and forwards a few times to remove plaque and debris.

Back of mouth
Access may be improved by first shaping the brush head into a slight curve. DO NOT bend at right angles. Please note, undue force and continuous bending at severe angles will lead to damage of the wire. Always rinse brush in clean water during and after use.
