Porcelain Veneers in London Provide You With That Dream Smile
What are veneers?
If you’re looking for a quick solution for stained, chipped, misshaped or crooked teeth, veneers could be the answer. Dental veneers are thin sheets of ceramic material, which are coloured and shaped to match your teeth. They are placed on your natural teeth to cover imperfections and can even help close small gaps if orthodontic treatment isn’t suitable for you.
Porcelain or composite veneers?
Most dental veneers in London are made from porcelain, however we also offer veneers made from composite bonding materials.
Porcelain veneers are the more expensive option, but look more attractive when they are in place. They are made in a laboratory and are glued onto the teeth. Composite bonding veneers are made from a tooth-coloured resin and are directly sculpted by hand onto the teeth. They are less expensive than porcelain veneers and require less drilling of the tooth.
Porcelain veneers can last from 10-15 years in ideal situations and composite bonding veneers from 5-7 years, depending on brushing habits, aftercare, tooth grinding and diet.

An Understanding of Every Patient’s Smile
At Fresh Dental we understand that every patient is unique and has a different smile line and tooth shape. As such, we take all of these factors into consideration when creating veneers for you.
Treatment begins with a consultation, where we will discuss your goals and concerns. We’ll then take a scan of your teeth, along with photographs, and digitally design your smile and create a replica model of your desired teeth. We call this a diagnostic wax up.
At your next visit we’ll carry out a mock-up in your mouth using the design we’ve created. This will allow you to give your input and let you test drive your final smile.
Next, we’ll carefully carry out any preparation to the teeth and take another 3D scan which our skilled dental technicians will use to make your veneers. We’ll refit some provisional veneers to give you a nice smile while you’re waiting.
When your final veneers are ready, we’ll bond them to your teeth to give you that flawless smile.

Angela had a longstanding fear of dentistry and following a recommendation by a friend, she came to us to rebuild her smile. Following initial treatments of tooth whitening and gum recontouring, Angela chose to have dental implants and porcelain veneers to a achieve a life changing result.
This gentleman attended with heavily worn upper and lower teeth. This type of wear would traditionally have been treated by crowning all the teeth in the mouth. This traditional treatment can be very invasive so instead we employed a revolutionary new technique known as the 3 step technique using a series of adhesive ceramic overlays for the back teeth, direct composite bonding for the lower front teeth and sandwiched veneers to the upper front teeth made of composite on the inside and porcelain on the outside. All this work was carried out without the need for local anaesthetic and very minimal drilling.
